...when you're a graphic designer! Anything and everything can be used to get a point across, which is the concept/idea of this piece. Seen the texture and had inspiration for it. Completely satisfied with my goal and what i've done with it. 
Went for a realistic look along the crack line of having paint there, but I wanted something more interesting than throwing it on there. I wanted it to have a loose shape or form. Hope I accomplished that.
Like I said above, it's something to live by when you're a Graphic Designer. No matter how corny it sounds, pictures of sidewalks with good texture, broken down buildings, all of it is able to be used in some way shape or form.
Hopefully i'm not the only one who gets the concept of this piece.
