Retro Freedom

With my brother going into the Air Force this October, I've been thinking a lot about the military in general. You know, a lot of people just take their freedom for granted, and don't really care about what's going on out in the world today. Right now we have men and women in the Military, to go out and put their lives on the line for their country, and our freedom. That's a big sacrifice to make. And because of them making that sacrifice, I made this. This is dedicated to all of the men and women in the Military, but especially those overseas in Iraq and such. Our support and prayers go out to you.

Took over two hours to do. Believe it or not, the hand is mine. Literally. I took a picture of my hand to make this.

Took a while to figure out how to get it to look like I did, the hand. As for the Red/White/Blue back there, I kept it with a "Desert" feel to it, like it's been worn down and the colors are faded due to the extreme weather. Yeah, just the color scheme I wanted for the whole piece. I'm very satisfied with the outcome. I think it might possibly be one of my best concepts and overall pieces yet.
